Ape Basics: Casual Diaper Bag with USB Charging Port reviews

I bought this as a casual backpack, not a diaper bag, and it's great. There's a ton of pockets and a good amount of space. The top has two bits of metal in it so that it doesn't sag and opens nicely.

Absolutely thrilled with my purchase. I was looking at nappy bags $150+ and then found this. It has everything I need for baby and me, and it looks stylish too. I was especially thrilled with the clips with velcro to attach to pram if I don't want to wear it, or store it underneath the pram. Bottle compartments fit my Tommee Tippee bottle and his slippy cups. The USB charger is also prefect for long day trips. Can't rate this highly enough. Thank you Mighty Ape!

I bought this as a uni bag, I didn't realize it was marketed as a diaper bag until after I ordered! The logo is not in English on the actual bag so doesn't say baby like in the picture which is great. Very spacious, holds a lot of things but doesn't look massive! Love the anti-theft pockets on the back. Thanks Mighty Ape

This bag exceeded my expectations, especially considering the price! Works very well as a nappy bag with plenty of room, even with two kids in cloth nappies, and a good number of pockets etc.

Not using this for a baby bag, using it take to work every day. All the inside pockets are great for keeping things separate and easy to find. Would recommend for anyone!

A much sturdier bag than I expected, looks nice, and is designed so if you arent carrying so much in the pack, it doesnt look oversize. Comes with a little pouch inside it, and plenty of practical pocket options. Cant recommend more :)

This was a gift for a new Mum and Dad and has been just perfect. It holds loads of baby stuff and has a USB charger that actually works! A backpack which leaves the hands free, so useful with a new baby.

This is a great nappy bag with more room than it looks like it has. Easy to carry and so many pockets. Would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone!

The usb cord isn’t really any different from having your phone just in the bag on a portable charger as you have to connect it anyways

I wish I had found this bag sooner. It is a great size, it has a lot of space but it doesn't look too big which is nice. It has a great amount of pockets and insulated areas for bottles and snacks. It's also a really affordable price!

I love that there is a pocket for everything inside this bag. It has enough space for us 3 (parents and baby) for a few hours trip to the mall. It is so versatile it replaces my handbag some occasions I can just bring one bag for me, dad and baby’s needs. The pockets at the front for the bottles are lined with insulation. For reference the Dr Brown’s wide neck bottles and the narrow neck tall 250ml bottles fits well. There is also a secret pocket for parents cards/phone in the back. Lastly, we don’t use the USB charging port because the cable we have is not long enough for use (we store the bag in the bottom of the stroller). Downside is the quality – you pay for what you get, I won’t pay more than $60-$70 for the quality and materials as other shops sell this for $150.

Bag seems like average to good quality and I feel it will do the job for my newborn. The bag isn't as wide as I thought it would be , so it won't fit everything in although I always tend to over pack. Its still a good enough size but could be wider. Love the back opening zip so you can get things out of the bottom of the bag without taking everything out from on top. I dont get why you'd have a USB port in the bag, when you still need to pulg a portable charger into it and then the phones charger into the USB port. Seems way to much work for me but thats just me I won't use it anyway. Hoping my bottles will fit in the front bottle area, but they haven't arrived to check yet. It does also come with a insualted bottle bag as well which can clip on etc, it seems handy. The grey velcro tabs are super super handy to clip onto the buggy if you don't want to put on your back or under the buggy. Its a feature ill use alot ! Other than the wideness I think its a great bag and especially for the price.

Such a roomy, smart bag! So many pockets and straps that can be used in so many ways, so versatile and brilliantly designed, well worth the money! Light when empty so don't have to worry about it becoming too heavy. Some pockets also have insulation for bottles and such!
