Small Layer Brush reviews

As I was starting out in the hobby I often looked for cheaper brush alternatives – but I can admit these are worth it. The bristles hold up and keep their shape really well. Just do it. Buy Citadel. I know I hate caving to the man as well, but don't suffer through inadequacy for your hobby.

Its a great little brush. My only problem was about 5 bristles had been bent back when it was put into the protective sleeve and I had to trim them off.

Not much to say, good quality brush that does the job well. Recommended!

I think this is my favourite brush in Citadel's lineup. Very much a workhorse for both detail work and layering. Just don't use Contrast Paints with it, you'll ruin the bristles via capillary action.

This brush is a great size for getting detail or layering paints to create tone and depth. However, when I use the brush the bristles tend to get out of shape and make painting a bit messy because of the bristles that stick out of place. Overall, I don't regret buying this brush and use it every time I paint.
