Outlander (2014) is the popular Histrical & Period drama based on the romance novel by Diana Gabaldon. The story follows war nurse Claire Beauchamp Randall who mysteriously time-travels back to 1743, where she meets the highlander warrior Jamie Fraser, together they fight the rebellion. This might be the best book adaptation ever in TV history with a mix of adventure, fantasy and Gothic horror. A must-watch if you are the fan of the Outlander series.
