I guess it does what it says. However, I have an 10.9" iPad air and it is too heavy for the stand. The gooseneck is also INCREDIBLY stiff and very very hard to move around. If you liked where it was before and now you've moved it – you're stuffed.

Very cheap packaging and low quality parts. It does work as described but I don't know how long it will last as you have to be very careful when taking items out of the bracket so it doesnt break
The arm is very very stiff. For me this means it would be a permanently fixed item once I have extended to arm. I was hoping for something more “flexible”.
Not as flexible as shown in photos. Not wide enough for bigger tablets. Would be ok for most phones. Is not the best quality.
Amazing stand, Works for both iPhone and iPad. Very sturdy, it can handle the weight of iPad easily. Love it.
Despite reading the reviews, I bought one anyway. That was dumb! I found it a bit fiddly to put together and the arm is horribly stiff. I also found the bracket thing not very reliable. Wouldn't recommend.
Don't be too rough on it, has a big weakspot on its neck. Snapped almost immediately.
The attachments are too flimsy and the cable isn’t flexible enough. It doesn’t hold the weight of my small tablet.
Very strong but flexible if you take your time to bend it how you want it. Grip seems strong too. A little wobbly if you knock it, but expected as stem is quite long.
Not strong enough for iPad mini with a drop protection case. Got it working leaning against our side table. Definitely for phones not bigger devices! It’s not heavy duty and quality is poor for it’s purpose.
I'm using this with an Ipad 10.5 I installed a floating shelf over the bed and have it clipped to that. I read books at night on the holder with a cable plugged in and looped around the arm and I can fall asleep and just leave it. Great for my neck too.
Even though its quite stiff, it still wobbles around a lot, making it hard to set up. If its used in a semi permanent setup its fine, as long as you don't have to move it around a lot. Doesn't feel like the materials are going to last too long
Once I have it in the position I want it, I keep it there as it unfortunately isn't as stable as I want. But I use this as an additional screen with my Mac and iPad so is perfect for that use when needed.
