Darker Than Black - V1 previews

The series starts off a little slow but is quick to give you questions which leads to a whole new realm of curiosity which is worth exploring. The world is a unique blend of the supernatural and political with people who possess powers (called Contractors) being employed as assassins and whatnot to fullfill whatever agenda. The series popsits its storyline around the origin of the contractors. If your looking for a new series to watch then this is worth watching. Its genre in western terms is probably supernatural/ac­tion/mystery but watch it yourself and be the judge.

This anime starts off looking quite promising, action, drama there's even a bit of comedy. However it just doesn't seem to go anywhere, while the story unfolds you get an insite into the charcters lives and stories, which in most cases gets a little boring. Don't get me wrong, there are actually some great parts to this anime, but once again it just does't last, the build up leaves you wanting something big, and you dont get anything anywhere near what you expected, and you will end up like me, watching the complete anime just to see it out hoping against hope that something will happen. Aimation is great, music is a little strange and the story definitely could have used some more work. On the plus side, if strange is for you then perhaps you will find that you enjoy this anime.
