After waiting and waiting for this game just to be disappointed by it's lack of story and emotion, repeative gameplay and shitty fighting machanics it's such a disappointment, the dialogue while free roaming is boring and repeative, I had to turn the dialogue off because I couldn't stand hearing frey and cuff talk about the same crap, the fighting & Parkour machanics are so clunky and not well designed, rinse and repeat gameplay “beat the boss to unlock a better cloak” and so on, upgrading system is boring, apart from being visually beautiful the game is utter horse sh!t

"An absolute nightmare"

Bitterly disappointed in this game. From the previews it had such potential to be utterly brilliant and I was really looking forward to the magical parkour and the beauty of the world but after slogging my way through, what is essentially ‘zombie’ murder/kill for eight hours, I can honestly say the controls are like forcing Frey to walk through molasses, hard to get going and impossible to stop, navigation is joke, the magical abilities are pitiful, unreliable and halfhearted and the lead character is abrasive and foul mouthed and I do mean foul mouthed. It's constant. The only upshot were the dry remarks of Cuff but almost immediately, his phrases became repetitive and in no way compensated for what feels like an utter mash of a game. So sorry I trusted Square Enix with my money on this one. I won't make that same mistake again. Stick to Final Fantasy games and concentrate on the next remake of 7, SE boffins. Your time would be better well spent.

The game controls are very clunky. Especially at the start. Best option is to sandbox the game, don’t directly push through the quest. The basic story is over quite quickly and the your basically just hack n slashing through the Area after that. I didn’t enjoy the dialogue. It was very lame school kid dialogue which didn’t gel with Fray’s foul mouth. The swearing wasn’t an issue it just didn’t go together. There in town dialogue and side quests were insanely Eye rollingly tedious. I just wanted to get out of there. Auto heal function is clunky. I died many times with completely full health pouch’s. Overall game, I still enjoy but not a five out of five.

Wouldn't day its the eorst game but it definitely leaves much to be desired regarding its storytelling and Voice acting… The gameplay itself is fun though can feel a bit clunky at times overall bot bad but could be better
