Iron Man 2 previews

Iron Man 2 is not perfect, but it is still a very entertaining movie. A lot of people will argue that it's not as good as the first, sadly I have to agree. The only real downfall to the movie is the hype of the upcoming 2012 movie The Avengers. I think Iron Man 2 focuses too much on The Avengers then it does on the title character. However Mickey Rourke as Whiplash is more than enough of reason to watch this movie. Defiantly check it out, it's like I say… Don;t judge a book by it's cover have your own opinion of the film.

Having really enjoyed the first movie, I was eagerly awaiting this one. I do have to agree with the negative reviewers, there is no oomph.

It opens really well and you remember why you enjoyed the first one. Robert Downey Jnr is fantastic in his role and seamlessly continues where he left off last time. Did they change the actor for his airforce friend or is this a new character altogether…I am confused.

I found the storyline hard to follow. It felt like I was watching morse code – occassional dots of action followed by long dashes of dull unimportant nothingness. Just when it was getting too painful to watch more action happened. It's like the film makers decided they were losing their audience's at­tention and the only way to fix it was to blast them with more noise.

I wasnt expecting award winning cinema, I mean it's based on a comic book but I did feel deflated after the hype. I wish I had rented it first.

This is one the best sequels I have seen, all the cast are brilliant. Definitely worth the price ($10 cheaper than anywhere else). Cannot wait to see the other Marvel movies (See if you can find the 5 min trailer of Thor on the net. It looks awesome.) when they come out.

Look, I'm not a fan of the first movie so I'll preface the review with that fact. I really don't like the casting of the movies, the first movie had some serious pacing issues and some of the dialogue was absolutely terrible. And yet, it was fun, it gave a reasonably joyful ride through the world of Tony Stark and Ironman, gave a good insight into the background of the character and for all it's feigned depth it did it's job as a shallow action movie.

Iron Man 2 is not what you want out of a sequel, it's not a Dark Knight (Christopher Nolan), it's not a Terminator 2 (James Cameron), it's simply just another typical hollywood blockbuster sequel where the philosophy of MORE MORE MORE is applied. And that's what Iron Man 2 gives you, it gives you more more more action, more more more poor dialogue, more more more pacing issues.

The movie visually is great, I love the look of the new Iron Man suits and all, but they really do just show the whole “We want to make it bigger(not better)” deal of this movie. But as a purely unthinking sit back and gawk movie it does its job on the visual front. However plotwise it has absoloutly no edge of your seat moments, has no amazing sequences that build your adrenaline up, nothing in the way of getting the audience involved.

The pacing of the movie is what really got to me, it just felt extremely muddled. We are going to go here, wait no, go here, and then we will go here, and when we get there, nothing will really happen. It was so choppy and boring and trying to be funny with self references. I couldn't stand the layout of this movie.

I will undoubtly draw the ire of some of the fanboys for this review, as I can see alot of people disagreeing with me. But this is just my take and I hope it helps those who are looking for the movie as more than just a simple sit down and shut up and go where the director tells you movie.

A great action movie, not only to fans of the graphic novel. If you liked the first Iron Man, you will not be disappointed with this movie :).

This movie is a great sequel. Robert Downey Jnr's commanding presence bring strength to each scene he is in. It does somewhat lack the warmth of the firsts origin story but explores well what Iron Man does when everybody wants a piece of the technology he created.

Pros: great movie, nice edition (not only Blu-Ray, but also DVD and digital copy). Cons: blu-ray transfer quality is average, definitely not what you could expect from Blu-Ray format (but sill better than DVD copy and you could check it with included DVD copy) My recomendation- Depends on price.

Awesome movie. Special features give you an in-depth of the making of this movie and makes you appreciate it even more!

I loved the first movie, and i can say i loved the second move. Yet there were a few issues with it, most due to it being a tie in movie, to the Avengers and Iron Man 3, no one loves the middle child as much :P

Overall a great flick

I didn't like this movie as much as the first. It lacked a really good story line, but for the men in my life this movie rocked for them. They all sat, locked onto the screen, so ladies if you want time out just get your man to watch this movie and see if they move.

Not as good as One. Good action movie

OMG! This movie rocks! Its even better in the bonus DVD/Blu-ray pack.

I loved the first one, and watched it so many times I wore out the DVD, now I have grabbed this one on Bluray, was blown away by the quality and production value of the film. Downey is hilarious and brings even more to his character this time around! Loved it!

Bluray keeps getting better and now that ive got my digital sound setup its was like going to the movies again, crisp and clear and such a wicked movie
