Super easy to bring my number across. Only took 10 minutes and it was ready to use. Mighty uses the Vodafone network which is much better than Spark in my area so huge improvements on reliability and 5G access.

At 50% off this is the best mobile plan in NZ by a mile. However unless they adjust the base prices I will be switching after the 3 months. They only need to be a little cheaper, come on Mighty!

Tested it on my iPhone 12 Pro by sharing my hot spot with Sony TV with no issues. I can enjoy HD quality Netflix the whole afternoon! Thank you Mighty Mobile!

Unable to even activate my account, after 2 days of false promises from the chat help team they finally admitted theres an issue affecting multiple people, estimated resolution 24 ‘working hours’ aka 3 working days minimum. I bought this for unlimited data because I was sick of the slow down after using all my data allocation, and now it will be a week without any data at all (including the weekend in the middle of those ‘working days’, and assuming its actually fixed by then)

Switched from an open term One plan to this. Followed the instructions to port my old number. Up and running in about 15 mins. 5/5

Purchased a sim and plan. Cannot get the plan to load onto Sim. Cannot contact anyone for help. Chat service doesn’t have any answers and team person leaves you in a queue for over an hour. I will need to return to previous provider.

I have used it for a month now. And it has ran smoothly no problems in terms of what it's supposed to do, however whenever I have issues and I contact the customer service team, they take days to respond and they don't actually solve my issues. I asked the customer service team in mighty ape about the customer service staff for mighty ape and they claim they're local. I have dealt with 4 different people so far, and I am certain these guys are based overseas. They're response times and genuine lack of care and inability to solve my issues has really turned me off their service. Get your act together mighty ape. You do so well with mighty ape, how do you stuff up mighty mobile. I am now in a position where I need to use my number for work, but am unable to as the plan has not renewed. Have been waiting for a response from the chat service person and nothing has been resolved. This has been beyond frustrating.

Do not go with mighty mobile. I have waited 4 days to get help from customer service and they still dont have a solution. They have no idea what they are doing and seem to be offshore. I have since tried to move to another mobile provider and has been over 48 hours with no response. Stuck with no work phone for 5 days losing business and still waiting! Also no call centre just stupid chat bots.

Apparently the promotion ended before they got it shipped to me. So why didnt they stop people buying days before hand so had to waste time setting this up. Ontop of this the internet kept cutting out and I had to keep asking contact centre for why this is. The internet continues to be up and down and the signal isnt as good as competitors.

The whole process was super quick and easy! Great value for money, especially with the speed of data! Really happy I made the switch to Might Mobile!

The best speeds out for the price. Very competitive compared to other providers I have been with in the past. Hopefully, speeds won't be throttled in the future.

I work in Telco and am well aware of price surges happening in NZ right now, in terms of value this is the best I have ever seen, even when the promotion ends, still the best by a long shot. One issue though which turned out good was that I could not see hotspot advertised anywhere on this plan, but to my surprise it is included, thanks so much

I purchased this product on the 18th of October. After more than two weeks MightyApe couldn’t even locate my parcel and the customer service representative wouldn’t even acknowledge that it was a problem. They continually provided me with the same tracking link that was broken and gave absolutely zero detail of the whereabouts of the parcel.

I requested a refund which the customer service representative confirmed would be processed within 3–5 working days. I have now been waiting for longer than two weeks with no sign of my money. After raising this again with customer service, they became unresponsive and have sent me seemingly automated responses saying they will “look into it”.

If you are contemplating ordering this product, I would suggest that you reconsider your choice and stick to an established telco. MightyApe has really dropped the ball here, the pricing seems great but it isn’t worth the headache of dealing with the abysmal customer service and lack of reliability. I’d give a zero star review if that were an option.

I decided to take the leap and change from another major provider to save money on my monthly bill. I was a bit sceptical at first as I was worried it would be hard to transfer my phone number across, and I was worried about the data speeds compared to my last plan.. But it was SO easy to set up, my existing phone number transferred over straight away and the speeds have been so good! I haven't had a single issue with reception, data speed.. Nothing! It's been amazing. THANK YOU MightyApe for finally bringing down the costs of mobile phone usage in NZ. I'll be telling everyone to make the switch!

Asked for APN settings and apparently they have none… the customer service just gave me a link from overseas Vodafone network in ie… very unprofessional and also the plan started when they send out, not when u activate your card…

I ordered my sim and was excited to see it work but it was faulty . I could not get the sim to work it wouldn’t register the number on the box . So I emailed and was corresponding the support team and they couldn’t figure out the issue. Asking for a refund . This promo was too good to be true. Don’t recommend

Received the new sim 5 days after placed order online. Sim card can not be activated , and asked help in their mobile help center , no response at all after 48 hours.

Purchased to try out and first month was half price, the website won't let me activate my Sim and won't accept my payment details, help Center robot sent me useless links until I asked to speak to a human who proceeded to send me more useless links after trying to explain the problem to him. Now they are ignoring me. Leaving me on read. Super disappointed. Feel like I got scammed.

When you receive your sim the auto activation system lets you think it can port your number but it can't. You need to start the headache of a process to deal with the “customer service” chat to get that done. Thought I'd try it out for a month before committing to the $499 Faster 365 product. Unable to switch to new product and forced to renew monthly plan. “Customer service” absolutely no help. EVERY TIME I have to deal with them is a HEADACHE

The mobile plan itself is fine, if it works. When you have issues the customer service is an absolute nightmare to deal with. It's disappointing as mightyape itself is fantastic, we've been using them since the beginning and their customer service is incredible. Mightyape mobile is not for us, they really need rethink their customer service and maybe use their actual Mightyape one? We will be changing plans.

Found I had no data on my phone. Nothing worked. Logged in and it wanted a payment method. Fair enough so gave them one. Now it says I need to activate my SIM. I did that weeks ago to start using it. Amateur operation.

Excellent value for the first three months, although I may be reassessing once this period ends – I suspect there will be cheaper options available elsewhere. It was super quick and easy to switch and port my number across, and was completed within around 20 minutes. The network runs on One NZ (Vodafone) so has excellent coverage. Recommended.

Switched from Spark was simple and easy, porting my old number took about 10 minutes, very fast internet and a stable connection have had no issues. I get better coverage & 5G then when I was with Spark. The best value for money compared to other providers, even without the discount. Would highly recommend to anyone

Was trying to activate a new SIM card by following the messages but somehow it just fails, and lose the benefit of a 50% discount for the first three months. Like others said, the customer service doesn't really solve your problem, some are ok while some are unfriendly. If you're still willing to try, the SIM card itself could still be an OK product considering the price. But based on the service I received, and hours I wasted, will never recommend it to anyone who is consious of time.

I live in the coverage area and other people who have one nz for coverage say the speed is good, but with this mighty mobile plan it doesn’t do anything. Maybe you could be luckier if you try it? I don’t know.

Worked easily in my router… Using the $50 plan. Located 8kms out of wellsford. Highly recommend!!
