All you need for an espresso is ground coffee, boiling water, and your Minipresso. It does not need power or filters or even a cup. We bought it to use on night shift where there is only a kettle and instant coffee and it just works great. We also take it camping as it is so lightweight and its robust construction means it is safe in the backpack.

Amazing little gadget – perfect when you don't have room to take your kitchen espresso machine!!
Great for travelling, but small quantity of coffee. Pumping can be a bit of a mission and a bit tricky to hold and pump. Best to warm through first otherwise coffee is lukewarm
Brilliant for coffee lovers!
Does a nice job of making a wee coffee fix.
Whether you use this for travelling or as a very compact home espresso machine, you will not be disappointed. Produces a great espresso with fantastic crema.
The GR model takes grounds, needed the NS model to use capsules.
Good coffee and easy to use. Good for a quick shot
Very impressed at first and it made a great shot but after a bit of use the head of the machine completely split open under pressure.
Love this espresso machine. Saves me from having to drink cheap motel sachet or plunger coffee or spend $$ buying coffee. I just take a small bag of my favourite ground coffee and this machine and I have decent coffee wherever I go. It does take a bit of practice to get the coffee tamped down right and it is a bit fiddly to clean.
