Really, don't bother with this, I was very surprised given Helen Mirren Is the lead actor in this movie. Tragic

Well acted, a thoughtful story looking back at the influences of childhood and then the brutality of war. How these influences affect different peoples in different social economic groups. I found it thought provoking and ability to understand those who have been abused in various ways. Do not judge a book (person) by their cover!
Thoroughly enjoyed this movie. As always, Helen Mirren is excellent, as is Martina Gedeck who plays the other main character in this movie. The plot is both absorbing and complex and keeps you wondering what is hidden behind the door.
The door DVD was good I enjoyed it. Its had high ratings.
