Re-releasing Modern Warfare “Remastered” as a stand-alone title proves how good of a game the original COD 4 was despite its integration into the “supply drop” setup. The fact it was released as a dual game with Infinite Warfare back last November 2016 shows how much Infinite Warfare and Infinity Ward needed the prestige of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare just to get a decent amount of sales. I bought MWR/IW last year. No real incentive to buy MWR again stand-alone.
