Which ever way you look at it James Reid, Matt Thomas, and Hamish Gee, collectively known as the feelers, are a piece of New Zealand musical history.
Through hits such as “Larger Than Life’, ‘Venus’, and ‘Stand Up’ the feelers have literally provided the soundtrack to Kiwis’ lives for over ten years now.
With 3 previous studio albums (Supersystem, Communicate, Playground Battle) numerous awards and combined sales of over 180,000 the feelers return with a vengeance with their 4th studio album “One World”.
Always a band to cause a vociferous commotion, the first single and album’s title track, ‘One World’, is already making giant strides up the NZ singles chart (currently sitting at #11) and on the airwaves (#3 Most played song on NZ radio).
A true labour of love over the last 12 months “One World” was recorded at a variety of studio’s across Auckland, New Zealand, then mixed by Tim Palmer (The Cure, Pearl Jam, U2, Live) in Los Angeles, and finally mastered by George Marino (Arctic Monkeys, AC/DC, Metallica, Coldplay) at Sterling Sound in New York.
