Seeking Justice
Meet Will Gerard, (Cage), a hard working English teacher. His life is changed forever when his wife Laura, (Jones), is brutally attacked, seemingly without motive.
At his wife’s bedside in the hospital, a distraught Will is approached by Simon, (Pearce) a complete stranger. He tells Will he can wait for the police to find the culprit and trust in the justice system, or his ‘organization’ can kill the attacker before the night is out. In return, Will might owe a favour. Wracked with emotion, Nick agrees to the proposal, which sets off a chain of events that will spiral further and further out of his control.
Critic Reviews:
- " In Seeking Justice, Cage is in unfamiliar territory as the bookish Will Gerard which lends itself well to Cage delivering one of his best performances in some time. " – Debbie Lynn Elias
- " As far as a Cage film goes, Seeking Justice is better than the last couple major theatrical releases that have hit the screens. " – Kevin Carr
- "Nicolas Cage plays the regular man protagonist with surprising ease, dialing down the nutty affectations and keeping you engaged. " – Robert Levin
