The Mk.45 5-inch/62-caliber Mod 4, which is installed on ships of the United States and other Western countries, is also used on the Atago-class, Akizuki-class, Asahi-class, Maya-class and Mogami-class destroyers of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force. The gun shield has also been updated to a stealth type with a slope.
This model kit from Takom comes with a metal gun barrel; the hatch next to the gun shield can be assembled opened or closed, and the interior is fully reproduced. The gun barrel can move up to 65 degrees upwards and 15 degrees downwards. A base and decals for one version are included too. Order yours today!
