Ted, Mikey, and the Beehive, is a short story which reiterates the old saying, "that with age comes wisdom". However in this short fun story; our two characters show us their true nature. Turtles are said to be very quiet and wise, while monkeys are known as being very mischievous and energetic creatures. Their different personalities leads us through the on an interesting journey through the forest on a bright sunny day.

Cedrick Phillip, As a librarian, he had a firsthand opportunity of seeing how books captivated the minds of the children who read them. Their excited little eyes, racing across the words on the pages of the books they read. On completing the book, a jubilant smile remains on their face which last until they begin reading a new chapter of new book. "The power of a book is undying, its words inspiring, its effects everlasting"..... Cedrick Phillip. Phillip presently resides in New Jersey, and works as an Information Technology Technician. He is a young up and coming children book author. His love for his children, reading and technology has inspired him to fulfill his promise of one day, self-publishing his children short stories, based on characters who are clever, shy, intelligent, amusing, mischievous, energetic, adventurous, witty, and kind. His first book entitled, "Ted, Mikey, and the Beehive", is a fun short story about a turtle named Ted, and his friend, a monkey named Mikey. The two silly friends who's true nature, one being very quiet and wise, while the other for being very energetic and mischievous. The story line progresses to the climax, which reaffirms the old saying, that youth and agility can't outwit age and wisdom. Phillip plans to introduce us to other clever characters within his series of soon to be published books in the coming months. He has created his own Publishing house, Happy Kids Imagine, to manage his story titles, development, marketing, distribution, and copyright laws. His company's motto, "Inspiring Kids Imagination Through Reading" keeping him firm to his goal of providing fun, creative reading material, in various formats from electronic eBooks, Interactive Children Book Apps, and in print to the millions of children around the world.
